Easily customise your panels to suit your interior style for a completely unique wall.
Proudly made in our Yorkshire workshop, each panel reflects the dedication and expertise of our skilled craftspeople.
Using Hidrofugo MDF means a denser and more durable panel than using standard MDF, built for longevity even in demanding spaces.
Create an interior that reflects your personal style with paintable SlatWall MDF panels. When it comes to the colour and finish, you decide the rules – it's your walls, your way.
Crafted at our workshop in Beverley, East Yorkshire, the panelling is made from high-performance Hidrofugo moisture-resistant MDF. We use innovative machinery to carve out the slats, creating the signature linear structure you know and love. As a result, this non-acoustic style can be installed in any room and customised to your scheme with your chosen paint. It's available in a 'Midi' height of 1.2m – which pairs perfectly with an MDF Top Trim for that finishing touch – and 2.4m for floor-to-ceiling installations.

Full Panel: 2400mm (H) x 600mm (W) x 15mm (D); Individual Slat: 27mm (W)
Half-Height: 1200mm (H) x 600mm (W) x 15mm (D); Individual Slat: 27mm (W)
Each panel covers 1.44m² (2400x600mm) or 0.72m² (1200x600mm). Measure the height and width of your wall in metres, multiply these values together to calculate the total area, and divide by 1.44 or 0.72 depending on panel size. Always round up.
Panels are crafted from Hidrofugo moisture-resistant MDF, which often has a green core. This core may be visible in machined profiles but does not affect surface quality or paint application.
Hidrofugo is a high-density, high-performance MDF with excellent moisture resistance, making it suitable for high-humidity areas like kitchens and bathrooms.
Apply Hybrid Grab Adhesive to the back of each panel and press firmly onto the wall.
For seamless results, use wood filler on joints and sand before painting. If needed, pin the panels with 25mm pins to aid adhesion.
If you choose unprimed panels, treat them with a water-based primer before installation.
Use a brush, roller, or sprayer with your chosen paint finish, such as matte, eggshell, or gloss. For the best results, install, seal gaps, and then paint. Pre-painting is possible but may require touch-ups after installation.
